The Network will ensure sustainability through an efficient implementation of the activities and build synergies for continuous collaboration beyond the grant period. The network would leverage the current institutional capacity of partners to deliver on the set objectives. It will build the capacity of its members in relevant areas to make them competitive in expanding its activities and membership through securing grants/funds - thus promoting multi-level partnerships with stakeholders of the marine litter and coastal zone in the West African Region. The issues of sustainability are addressed in 3 key areas: institutional, financial, and academic/Intellectual sustainability.
